A network of Paraguayans and those connected to Paraguay who chose Atlanta as home and found their community in CPAG.
CPAG is a community of Paraguayans and those connected to Paraguay who reside in the greater Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area. It grew out of spontaneous gatherings — asados, tereré, and meetups between compatriots — and expanded from there with a clear purpose: to accompany, support, and grow together.
The name "Community" was chosen deliberately. CPAG is a network of compatriots and those connected to Paraguay who share an origin, a culture, and the desire to support one another in a city that all of us, in some way, chose to call home.
CPAG was built for Paraguayans and those connected to Paraguay who came to Atlanta, Georgia in search of opportunity and personal or cultural growth.
To be the reference community for Paraguayans in Atlanta — a space where every person who arrives finds a support network, opportunities for growth, and pride in their identity.
And at the same time, to serve as the bridge that introduces Paraguay to Atlanta: its communities, its institutions, and its people.
A community that grows alongside its members. That doesn't impose, but accompanies. That doesn't close its doors, but opens them outward as well.
Connect Paraguayans in Atlanta with resources, shared knowledge, and each other — so every person can take full advantage of the opportunities this city has to offer.
Be the first point of contact for any Paraguayan arriving in Atlanta who needs guidance, connection, or simply to know they are not alone.
Introduce Paraguay to the city — its communities, institutions, and local society. Make our culture, history, language, and contributions visible.
Everything we do is built on these four ideas.
Create and maintain spaces for gathering — in person and digital — where Paraguayans in Atlanta can meet, connect, and build real relationships.
Share practical knowledge and lived experience. From housing and employment to immigration processes and raising children abroad — what one person has learned, another shouldn't have to figure out alone.
Keep Paraguayan identity alive in Atlanta. The Guaraní language, music, food, traditions — especially for new generations born or raised here.
Live together the moments that unite us: soccer, music, national holidays, and the achievements of our people. Celebrate who we are, from a distance, with pride.
